We seek formulas that support barrier resilience, repair, protection, and consistent radiance.

Eligible entries: Cleansers, Toners, Mists, Gentle Exfoliators, Masks, Serums, Moisturisers,

Facial & Body SPF, Tinted SPF 50, Lip, Eyelash, and Eye Care.

• Formulations that strengthen the barrier, respect the microbiome, and support natural repair cycles.​

• Visible, sustainable results: improved skin comfort, resilience, and radiance with consistent use

This category recognises outstanding fragrances that combine technical precision and thoughtful composition. Open to Fine Fragrance, Functional Scents, Luxury Candles and Restorative Body Oils. Judges seek scents that stand out for their craftsmanship, originality and ability to shift the wearer’s state of mind.

Insight:

We are seeking best‑in‑class olfactive work: fragrances where exceptional artistry meets purposeful design, delivering an experience that is both memorable and emotionally resonant. Entries should show originality, depth and distinction within contemporary perfumery. Male and Female Fragrances accepted.

Recognises haircare products, tools, and devices.

Entries can include shampoo, conditioner,  hair styling solutions, accessories,

brushes, and devices that support long-term scalp health, hair strength, growth, and overall vitality.

Particular consideration is given to scalp serums, advanced hair-growth treatments,

and technologies designed to stimulate follicles and improve scalp function.​​​

Celebrates multi-functional Masstige & Luxury beauty products that deliver

Eligible entries include: Foundations and tinted moisturisers, colour enhancing products

for eyes, cheeks and lips, lash and brow serums, SPF tanning products and sun-care hybrids, 

Nail care treatments with protective or restorative benefits.

Awarded to destinations that merge medical science, holistic wellness, and architectural design to deliver measurable long-term vitality. Evaluates London-based (UK) destinations delivering whole-body wellbeing.

We are seeking the best Spas, Clinics, or  Wellness Centres that offer elite, health-orientated programmes.  

Destinations are evaluated in-person by 2 ABA Experts.

It recognises UK based beauty brands or founders who are shaping the future of the industry

The ABA is the first awards body to create dedicated categories for this "Slow Beauty" evolution.

• Descriptive Terms:

  • Prestige: over £50 - Masstige: under £50 

  • Natural: Plant-based, organic ingredients - Cosmeceutical: Doctor/Expert brand

• Inclusivity: All skin tones, ages, genders, and abilities

• Environmental responsibility: considered across relevant categories

 

The ABA Compliance Standard

• Regulatory integrity: UK/EU-compliant; international brands must comply with home-territory regulations

• Scientific efficacy & ethics: Only ethically sound, scientifically backed formulas accepted

• Human rights & animal welfare: Entries violating human rights or tested on animals are disqualified

• MLM standards: Must be DSA UK-registered

​Products

Products are sent directly to category-specialist judges, unless advised otherwise.

Each product is evaluated by 3–5 judges, with 2 attending expert treatments.

Winners are determined by scores and feedback.

Withdrawals: Non-refundable.

Final reassurance: Recognition is earned through expertise, integrity, and performance, never influence.

The Judges' decisions are final.

Judging begins upon entry submission, with products tested by professional judges over 3 months.​
