Meet the Founder

An international editorial Make-Up Artist and Creative Artistic Director with over twenty years’ experience, Attracta has worked globally with supermodels, Hollywood actors, rock stars and royalty, creating modern, elegant beauty for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Vanity Fair and major runway and campaign clients.

Her signature approach is refined and deeply human: make-up that looks like great health and great decisions rather than heavy disguise. Before beauty, Attracta worked in healthcare, and that clinical background now underpins everything she does. She understands skin as an organ, not a surface, and advocates for age-inclusive, evidence-based routines, “less but better” product use and beauty that supports the nervous system instead of overstimulating it.

Her early book “8A,” now in the V&A archives, and her long-standing advocacy for Slow Beauty show she was challenging unrealistic standards and overconsumption long before it was fashionable to do so. In 2015, she founded the Attracta Beauty Awards, an independent, integrity-led platform that validates brands, experts, and innovations through a Slow Beauty lens

Each year, a handpicked panel of world-renowned artists and medical specialists evaluate entries over several months in demanding, real-world conditions. This rigorous process has made the Attracta Beauty Award seal a trusted mark of Restorative Excellence and performance in a crowded market.

The Awards have grown organically without sponsorship influence, cementing their reputation as one of the industry’s most discerning professional honours. Alongside this, Attracta hosts in-depth conversations with scientists, clinicians, and creatives on topics such as Bio-Optimisation, neuro-aesthetics, longevity, and emotional wellbeing, translating complex ideas into warm, practical guidance for consumers and professionals.

In her writing and talks she often returns to a simple, disarming question: “What if I told you you were beautiful?” – a line that reflects her compassion and her belief that life is too short not to be fully present in your own beauty, at every age. As a founder, entrepreneur and thinker, Attracta brings brands and audiences a uniquely informed, visionary perspective on where beauty is heading: slower, more intelligent, more honest, and far more connected to real human health and experience.
