Gow Tanaka - InternationalHair Stylist
Gow Tanaka started his career with 7 years of perfecting his art as a hair stylist in Japan, becoming one of the youngest salon managers to be featured in industry publications and winning numerous prizes for his technical abilities in cutting and styling hair. In 1997, Gow moved to the UK, launching his career as a session stylist by working for cutting-edge editorial style magazines including i-D, Dazed, The Face and Tank. His reputation as a skilled and highly creative artist lead into work for high profile fashion magazines including Vogue, Elle & Marie Claire, amongst others. He rapidly became the go-tochoice for many celebrities and musicians, as well as world-renowned photographers including Rankin; with whom he collaborated on many of his published book projects. His curiosity has recently seen him branching out into 3D CAD design, 3D Printing and CNC Machining – pushing the boundaries for hairstyling accessories and comb design.
